HVAC NEW YORK

The many faces of HVAC warranties

Manufacturer warranties

The manufacturer warranty covers the malfunction or failure of any part of your HVAC system and offers different timeframes for different parts of the system. They are labeled “limited warranties” and expiring after a specified time as stated in your contract with the company, most cover a ten-year period. They do not cover labor.

212HVAC’s five basic manufacturer warranty steps

  1. We will drive to your home or business to assess the problem
  2. We will fill out the paperwork for you
  3. We will verify the faulty part and ship it, along with the paperwork, to the manufacturer for replacement
  4. We will install the new part
  5. We will verify that the new part solves the cooling or heating issue

*Parts delivery time is dependent on manufacturer policy.

212HVAC will investigate the situation and file all the necessary paperwork for you, saving you time and frustration.

Labor warranties

Labor warranties are exactly what they sound like, they cover the cost of labor for the repair of your HVAC unit.

Keep in mind that the limited warranty does not cover the cost of materials, labor, or the travel time needed to obtain and return equipment.

At 212 HVAC, we guarantee our work for one full year.

Home warranties

Some home warranties include HVAC coverage for the replacement of malfunctioning components due to normal wear and tear. They do not cover pre-existing conditions noted in a home inspection, unusual wear and tear, code violations, improper installations and improper maintenance.
