The 212 Warranty
Air of Confidence
A heating and air conditioning system is a substantial capital investment for your property. If an issue arises
during the lifespan of your system, your best defense is comprehensive warranty coverage. It protects your
investment and provides peace of mind, knowing our specialists are managing the technical details for you.
To ensure you aren’t left with unexpected out-of-pocket expenses, review our coverage policies and what they
mean for you. It is an investment in lasting reliability.
Understanding Your HVAC Coverage
Manufacturer warranties
The manufacturer warranty covers the malfunction or failure of specific parts within your
system and offers different timeframes depending on the equipment. These are strictly “limited
warranties” expiring after a specified time as stated in your contract with the manufacturer,
most commonly after a ten-year period. They do not cover labor.

*Parts delivery time is strictly dependent on manufacturer policy and availability.
The 212 Workmanship Warranty
While a manufacturer’s limited warranty covers the cost of replacement parts, it strictly does
not cover the professional labor, refrigerant, or travel time needed to execute a repair.
To protect your investment, 212 HVAC provides a 1-Year Limited Workmanship Warranty on
our labor for new installations. We stand behind the precision of our technical execution,
operating independently of your manufacturer’s parts warranty.
Home warranties
Some home warranties include HVAC coverage for the replacement of malfunctioning components
due to normal wear and tear. They generally do not cover pre-existing conditions, unpermitted work,
code violations, improper installations, or a lack of professional maintenance.
Protect Your Coverage:
Annual Maintenance Plans
To maintain the validity of your manufacturer’s limited warranty, major HVAC brands strictly require
documented, annual professional maintenance. Neglecting routine service can legally void your coverage,
leaving you responsible for the full cost of major component failures.
Protect your capital investment and ensure your warranties remain fully active with a 212 HVAC Maintenance
Plan. Our specialists perform rigorous, data-driven seasonal inspections to optimize efficiency, prevent
unexpected breakdowns, and keep your system in full compliance with manufacturer warranty requirements.

FAQ
Will I have out-of-pocket costs with an active manufacturer warranty?
Yes. Manufacturer warranties typically cover only the specific replacement part. Standard costs still apply for diagnostics, professional labor, and refrigerant. Our 1-Year Workmanship Warranty specifically covers our labor on new installations.
Is my equipment warranty transferable if I sell my property?
Many parts warranties are transferable to the new owner, though strict timelines and fees apply. Our team seamlessly manages this entire process for you, filing all required documentation to ensure your coverage remains intact.
Do I need to contact the manufacturer to start a claim?
No. Contact our dispatch team directly. We act as your liaison and manage the entire 5-step resolution process on your behalf, from the initial on-site diagnostic to processing the parts return.
